Liver Clinic

Liver Clinic is the special clinic dedicated to Hepato-Bilio-Pancreatic disorders that is being operated by the Department of Hepatology, twice a week on Monday and Friday 8.00 AM onwards at Level IV, B Block, New OPD, PGIMER, Chandigarh. It is one of the busiest Outpatient Clinics in the hospital. We serve to the patients with diseases of liver, pancreas and billiary system. The commonest ailments presenting to the OPD include Liver Cirrhosis, alcoholic Liver Disease, fatty liver or Non-alcoholic Liver Disease, Hepatitis B & C, pancreatitis, cholangitis and deranged LFTs. Annual OPD patients have increased 288 % from 2008 till date. Almost 8841 new hepato-biliary cases and around 39005 follow up cases are seen annually in the liver clinic.
